  • Hourly: $18 per hour

Job Summary:
Line Cooks will be responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of dishes in a high volume kitchen environment. This role requires teamwork, attention to detail, and a passion for food preparation and presentation.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Food Preparation:
    • Prepare ingredients and menu items according to recipes and specifications as set by the executive chef.
    • Ensure that all food is prepared safely and to the highest quality standards.
  2. Cooking:
    • Cook menu items across various stations, such as grill, garde manger, sauté, and fry.
    • Monitor and maintain cooking times and temperatures to ensure food is cooked properly.
    • Prepare batch sizes according to par levels provided by the management team.
  3. Sanitation and Cleanliness:
    • Maintain a clean and organized workspace by following food safety regulations and sanitation protocols.
    • Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, utensils, and work areas regularly.
  4. Inventory Management:
    • Assist with inventory management by reporting low stock levels and helping with inventory counts.
    • Properly store, rotate, and label food items to reduce waste.
  5. Collaboration and Communication:
    • Work closely with the kitchen team and service staff to ensure timely service.
    • Communicate effectively with the kitchen manager regarding inventory needs and any kitchen issues.
  6. Flexibility:
    • Be adaptable to changes in menu items or special requests from guests.
    • Assist with special events as needed.
Qualifications:
  • Kitchen experience, with at least 1 year on the line
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations.
  • Ability to work in a high volume environment and handle multiple tasks.
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills.
  • Passion for cooking and a willingness to learn.
