Role Overview
The Line Cook prepares, cooks, and plates dishes according to Biscuit Belly’s recipes and standards. They work with speed, accuracy, and heart — ensuring every plate is vibrant, flavorful, and true to who we are. Line Cooks communicate openly, support their teammates, and help create a kitchen environment that feels warm, human, and high‑energy.
Key Responsibilities
Cooking & Execution — Deliciously Bold
- Prepare and cook all menu items with scratch‑made quality and bold flavor
- Plate dishes with color, personality, and “Instagram‑ready” presentation
- Maintain proper portioning, timing, and station flow
- Bring creativity, confidence, and energy to the line
Station Management — Genuine Authenticity
- Keep station stocked, organized, and clean throughout service
- Complete daily prep with honesty and pride — no shortcuts
- Follow all opening, mid‑shift, and closing procedures
- Communicate openly and clearly during rushes
Teamwork & Communication — Relentless Hospitality
- Support teammates without being asked
- Jump in wherever needed to keep the kitchen flowing
- Bring calmness, kindness, and positivity under pressure
- Help create a joyful, welcoming environment for FOH and BOH alike

- Complete dishwashing and cleaning tasks as assigned

- Clear hearing, vision, and communication abilities
- Comfortable working in hot and cold environments
- Maintains excellent personal hygiene
Work Environment
- Fast‑paced kitchen with constant movement and teamwork
- Exposure to heat from equipment and cold from walk‑ins
- Occasional outdoor exposure when assisting with deliveries
- Must be willing to cross‑train in other BOH roles as needed
