Position Overview
As a Bartender at Folia, you are not just making drinks. You are creating the experience.
From the first interaction to the last sip, your presence, awareness, and attention to detail shape how every guest feels. You are responsible for delivering exceptional hospitality while executing a high-level cocktail program in a fast-paced, energetic environment.
Key Responsibilities
Guest Experience & Hospitality
- Create a welcoming, engaging environment where guests feel seen and taken care of
- Build genuine connections and read the room to match the energy of the space
- Deliver experiences that go beyond expectations and drive repeat visits
Cocktail Execution & Craft
- Execute cocktails with consistency, precision, and attention to detail
- Take pride in every drink that leaves the bar, understanding it is part of the overall guest experience
- Maintain strong knowledge of spirits, recipes, and ingredients
Bar Operations
- Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked bar
- Stay ahead of service through preparation, batching, and awareness
- Follow all opening, closing, and service standards
Team Collaboration
- Work with urgency and support teammates during service
- Communicate clearly and contribute to a positive, high-energy environment
- Step in wherever needed to ensure a seamless guest experience
Inventory & Standards
- Monitor inventory levels and communicate needs proactively
- Maintain compliance with all health, safety, and sanitation standards
Qualifications
- 1–3 years of bartending experience in a high-volume or cocktail-focused environment
- Strong knowledge of cocktails, spirits, and bar fundamentals
- Ability to perform under pressure while maintaining composure and professionalism
- Strong communication and guest engagement skills
- A genuine passion for hospitality and creating memorable guest experiences
- Availability for nights and weekends
