Responsibilities for Host Hostess
- Answer the phone and manage waitlist
- Enter take-out orders into system, pack take-out orders, and run food to curbside
- Greet all guests as they enter the restaurant
- Seat guests according to the established plan that ensures all waitstaff gets filled tables
- Keep front desk and waiting area clean
- Ensure takeout menus, mints and cards remain stocked and cleaned
- Refill paper products in bathrooms, as needed
- Assist with clean and resetting tables
Qualifications for Host Hostess
- Keen attention to detail in order to track guest reservations
- Excellent customer service skills
- Friendly and outgoing personality
- Follow appropriate food safety guidelines
- Able to work a variety of shifts
- Able to stand for long periods of time
