Kitchen + Kocktails is seeking a Restaurant Assistant General Manager for our upscale Southern Comfort concept.


Primary Responsibilities
  • Ensure the highest level of customer service and satisfaction by demonstrating a “Do Whatever It Takes” attitude.
  • Utilize leadership skills to motivate employees and ensure cost control and labor management.
  • Inspect the establishment and observe workers and patrons to ensure compliance with occupational, health, and safety standards and liquor regulations.
  • Ensure paperwork accuracy, including daily sales summary reports, petty cash reimbursement forms, and payroll records.
  • Ensure the restaurant is adequately staffed to meet guest needs and sales goals.
  • Assist in recruitment of staff.
  • Oversee development and training of staff.
  • Maintain high-level communication with owners and stakeholders.
  • Maintain product and service quality standards by conducting evaluations and investigating complaints; initiate corrective action as required.
  • Ensure the security and safety of the restaurant, guests, and associates.
  • Lead special projects as directed by ownership.
  • Perform additional duties as necessary.

Preferred Qualifications
  • 3-5+ years of related experience

  • Ability to lead teams of 20–90 members toward operational excellence

  • Fair, firm, and consistent leadership style
  • Availability: approximately 55+ hours per week

Physical Requirements
  • Walking for 8+ hours per shift
  • Standing for 8+ hours per shift
  • Reaching above head, below waist, and to ground level for 8+ hours
  • Stooping, squatting, and bending for 8+ hours
  • Lifting and carrying up to 50 lbs repeatedly
  • Talking for 8+ hours
  • Periodic sitting as needed
