Prato is seeking talented new team members to join our culinary family! We’re currently hiring a skilled and motivated Line Cooks and Prep Cooks to support our dynamic kitchen team.
This role is ideal for a culinary professional who values precision, consistency, and collaboration. You’ll work alongside our chefs to craft high-quality dishes that reflect our commitment to seasonality, refined technique, and elevated Italian cuisine.
Key Responsibilities
- Set up and maintain an organized, fully-stocked prep station throughout service
- Execute prep and cooking tasks according to standardized recipes and chef direction
- Maintain food quality, portion control, and presentation standards
- Uphold strict sanitation and food safety practices in all work areas
- Assist in receiving, stocking, and rotating inventory
- Support the team in maintaining a clean, efficient, and productive kitchen
- Communicate effectively with team members and chefs to ensure a seamless service
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 year of kitchen experience in a full-service or high-volume restaurant
- Strong knife skills and knowledge of fundamental cooking techniques
- Understanding of food safety, sanitation, and kitchen cleanliness standards
- Ability to work calmly and efficiently under pressure
- Team-oriented with a positive attitude and a strong work ethic
- Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
