Summary/Objective
To demonstrate genuine hospitality and deliver exceptional customer service in Atlantic Beer & Oyster (A.B.O.), by consistently mixing, garnishing, and serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks according to company specifications for guests at the bar and in the dining area.
Essential Functions
To demonstrate genuine hospitality and deliver exceptional customer service in Atlantic Beer & Oyster (A.B.O.), by consistently mixing, garnishing, and serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks according to company specifications for guests at the bar and in the dining area.
Essential Functions
- Maintain complete knowledge of ABO beverage preparation, menu, and specials.
- Maintain complete knowledge of ABO food preparation procedures and menu items
- Take orders for alcoholic (age 21 and over) and non-alcoholic beverages and food items.
- Prepare orders for alcoholic (age 21 and over) and non-alcoholic beverages.
- Food preparation duties to include shucking oysters
- Able to use a computer to ring orders into a POS
- Refill drinks as requested by customers.
- Able to accept different types of payment and make change.
- Able to interact with customers, management, and co-workers in a friendly/fast manner
- Check identification of guests to ensure they are of legal age to consume alcoholic beverages. Refuse to serve beverages in a polite manner to guests who are not of legal age and notify manager
- Helping customers be aware of and choose menu items, suggestively sell food and beverage items, taking orders, and making customers feel taken care of during their visit
- Keeping the bar stocked (beer, wine, and liquor) and clean while always providing friendly and attentive service
- Maintain a clean workstation
- Report to work in a neat and clean uniform. Well-groomed hair and personal hygiene are essential.
- Maintain adherence to all Company policies and procedures.
- Other duties as directed by management.
