Responsibilities for Host/Hostess:
- Answer the phone and manage the waitlist
- Greet guests as they enter the restaurant and provide a warm, welcoming first impression
- Seat guests according to the established floor plan to support smooth service flow
- Keep the host stand, front entrance, and waiting area clean and organized
- Ensure menus and guest materials remain stocked and presentable
- Assist with packing take-out orders as needed
- Refill paper products in restrooms as needed
- Assist servers and bussers with cleaning and resetting tables during peak periods
Qualifications for Host/Hostess:
- Keen attention to detail, especially when managing guest flow and reservations
- Excellent customer service skills
- Friendly and outgoing personality
- Ability to follow appropriate food safety guidelines
- Able to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and holidays
- Able to stand for long periods of time
