About the Role
The Server is responsible for delivering an exceptional dining experience by offering polished, attentive, and heartfelt service. This includes guiding guests through the menu, fulfilling orders with accuracy and efficiency, and maintaining a warm and welcoming atmosphere throughout each service period. Servers are knowledgeable ambassadors of the kitchen, the bar, and our hospitality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Warmly greet and seat guests, present menus, and provide thoughtful recommendations.
- Take food and beverage orders with accuracy and relay them to the kitchen or bar.
- Serve each dish and drink with grace and attention to detail.
- Ensure guest satisfaction by checking in throughout the meal and resolving any concerns proactively.
- Provide guidance on ingredients, dietary needs, and wine or beverage pairings.
- Process payments accurately using the POS system.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and polished dining area before, during, and after service.
- Collaborate closely with back-of-house and front-of-house teammates to deliver seamless service.
- Participate in pre-shift meetings, maintain knowledge of menu updates, specials, and allergens.
- Communicate guest preferences and feedback to management for continuous improvement.
Qualifications
- 1-2 years of service experience in a fine-dining or chef-driven restaurant preferred.
- Familiarity with fine dining etiquette and polished service standards.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a genuine passion for hospitality.
- Ability to multitask and maintain composure in a fast-paced, high-touch environment.
- Availability to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and some weekday breakfast and/or lunch shifts.
- Experience with Toast or similar POS systems and basic cash handling required.
- Enthusiastic, organized, self-motivated, and detail-oriented.
- Knowledge of wine and cocktails is a plus.
