Position Overview

Front of House Team Members are cross-trained and expected to perform all front-of-house functions, including:
  • Cashier / Order Taker
  • Bagging & Order Assembly
  • Expo & Quality Control
  • Coffee & Barista Station
This is not a single-station role. We develop well-rounded team members who can confidently rotate between stations while maintaining speed, accuracy, and hospitality standards.

Key Responsibilities

Guest Experience & Hospitality
  • Provide a warm, professional, and attentive experience for every guest.
  • Take accurate orders and offer thoughtful menu recommendations.
  • Uphold company hospitality standards at all times.
  • Address guest concerns promptly and professionally.
  • Maintain a positive and team-focused attitude throughout the shift.
Cash Handling & POS Operations
  • Accurately operate the POS system and process transactions.
  • Follow proper cash handling and security procedures.
  • Maintain an organized and clean register area.
  • Protect company assets through integrity and accountability.
Order Assembly & Expectations
  • Verify order accuracy prior to guest handoff
  • Accurately assemble and package guest orders
  • Communicate clearly with kitchen staff to ensure smooth execution
  • Maintain speed of service while protecting food quality standards.
  • Keep stations stocked, organized, and clean.
Coffee & Beverage Execution
  • Prepare coffee and specialty beverages according to recipe standards.
  • Ensure consistency in quality and presentation.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the beverage station.
  • Execute with urgency during peak business periods.
Cleanliness & Operational Standards
  • Maintain cleanliness of dining areas, service counters, and restrooms
  • Complete opening and closing checklists as assigned.
  • Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines.
  • Support team members to ensure smooth daily operations.
Qualifications
  • Must be at least 16 years of age.
  • Previous quick-service or food service experience preferred.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to multitask in a high-volume environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Weekend and holiday availability required.
  • NYC Food Handler / ServSafe certification preferred but not required.
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to stand for extended periods (up to 8 hours).
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to bend, kneel, and reach as needed.
  • Comfortable working in a busy restaurant environment with varying temperatures and moderate noise levels.

Compensation & Schedule
  • Early Morning & Afternoon shifts available
  • Full weekend availability required
  • $16-$18 per hour (based on experience)
