Job Overview

The Server Assistant plays a key support role in delivering a seamless and elevated dining experience. This position is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and flow of the dining room, supporting servers by clearing and resetting tables, and ensuring guests feel cared for at every stage of their visit. The ideal candidate is observant, proactive, and brings a positive, team-first attitude to a fast-paced and refined environment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Promptly clear and reset tables in accordance with the restaurant's service standards.
  • Assist servers by delivering water, bread, condiments, and other items as needed.
  • Support the pacing of the dining room by ensuring tables are turned efficiently and professionally.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of service stations, dining areas, and restrooms throughout the shift.
  • Polish silverware, glassware, and restock side stations as needed.
  • Communicate clearly and respectfully with servers, hosts, and kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations.
  • Provide guests with a warm, friendly presence when interacting or assisting.
  • Handle glassware and dishware with care to avoid breakage or disruption to the dining experience.
  • Adhere to all sanitation, safety, and hygiene standards.
  • Assist with floor setups, closing duties, and occasional food running as directed.
  • Support team members and contribute to a positive, respectful workplace culture.
  • Attend mandatory meetings and complete company-assigned training.
  • Maintain uniform standards and demonstrate professionalism in all interactions.
  • Adhere to a reliable work schedule and perform duties safely.
  • Perform other tasks, including cross-training in different areas, as assigned by management.

Qualifications
  • Previous experience as Server Assistant or Busser, preferably in upscale or fine dining.
  • Flexible schedule helpful.

  • . Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices
  • . Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively
  • . Must be able to work nights, weekends and some holidays.
