Flourhouse Bakery produces the bread that powers every Mike & Patty’s sandwich. We’re seeking a Kitchen Team Lead (Bakery) to oversee bakery operations and support our continued growth.
Position Overview
The Kitchen Team Lead (Bakery) oversees daily production, quality standards, food safety, and team leadership at Flourhouse Bakery. This role balances hands-on baking with production coordination and supports delivery to all Mike & Patty’s locations.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily bread and baked goods production with hands-on involvement
- Maintain product quality, recipe consistency, and food safety standards
- Manage production, inventory, labor, and cost control
- Train and develop the bakery team
- Collaborate with operations and stores on forecasting and menu support
Qualifications
- 2+ years of bread baking experience, artisan bread experience preferred
- Prior leadership experience in a high-volume bakery environment
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to work early-morning production schedules
- ServSafe Manager certification (or ability to obtain shortly after hire)
