Responsibilities for Server:
- Greet guests as they enter the restaurant
- Familiarize guests with the menu and make appropriate suggestions when requested
- Take orders and enter them into the ordering system
- Serve food and beverages, including traditional dim sum items served from carts
- Clear, properly clean, and reset tables between uses
- Collect payment from guests in a timely manner
- Maintain a clean workspace by cleaning before, during, and after shifts
- Assist in training new team members as required
- Anticipate guests’ needs to ensure an enjoyable dining experience
Qualifications for Server:
- Excellent customer service skills and the ability to exceed guest expectations
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
- Friendly and positive attitude toward guests and team members
- Strong work ethic with a willingness to take initiative
- Confident and outgoing demeanor
- Flexibility to work a variable schedule, including weekends and holidays
- Ability to be mobile for a minimum of 4 hours, bend, stoop, and lift a moderate weight
- Be of legal age to serve alcohol
- Food service certificate
