The Opportunity:

We are looking for a driven, process-oriented and people-focused leader to oversee Clutter’s entire West Coast operations team, which has experienced 3x growth in headcount within the last six months. This person will directly manage three Regional Managers (in Southern CA, the Bay Area, and the Pacific Northwest) and indirectly manage dozens of Managers/Supervisors and hundreds of hourly Associates across the same regions. This position will report to Clutter's VP of Operations and consist of up to 75% travel.

As the Director of West Coast Operations - you will:

  • Manage a growing supply chain of 700+ operations employees, 5+ warehouses and a fleet of 200+ vehicles
  • Train, coach and develop operations leaders spread across three unique geographical regions (Southern CA, Bay Area, Pacific Northwest)
  • Enforce and strengthen Clutter’s performance management culture; we have very high standards for performance and accountability at all levels across the organization
  • Use data-driven decision-making to spearhead continuous improvement on all key metrics across the supply chain
  • Communicate and embody company strategy, values and servant leadership
  • Actively monitor staffing levels and training procedures in each region

What we're looking for:

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • 10+ years work experience in a operations-driven environment
  • 5+ years experience managing managers in an environment with hourly employees
  • Previous experience as a VP, Director, or Senior Operations Manager required
  • Experience building, coaching and training large teams in a dynamic environment
  • Obsession with process and quality control
  • Ability to identify top-tier talent that consistently raises the bar of excellence
  • Ability to leverage complex data to identify trends and drive strategic decisions
  • Comfortable delivering frequent direct written and oral feedback
  • Passion for continuous process refinement and improvement (Kaizen)
