Product Manager - Analytics at Niantic

Are you ready to help drive a product that brings positive impact to the world through the power of mobile and location technologies? We’re looking for a Product Manager to drive the analytics platform to be used across Niantic titles. You will gather requirements to define tools and frameworks to serve game development needs to make data-driven decisions and run experiments to optimize mobile game experiences. You’ll be integral in creating centralized analytics services, managing the technology and user experience, and establishing processes for innovation and collaboration. You’ll work with cross-functional stakeholders throughout the company with involvement across the entire Niantic platform and portfolio. This is a great role for someone who has been technical, with experience in data analytics and experimentation. This position is not eligible for TN visa sponsorship.


  • Understand the user experience for game developers making data-driven decisions, and have a vision for serving their analytics and experimentation needs.
  • Define and prioritize our analytics developer platform features for key personas, including product managers, producers, game designers, data scientists, developers, and marketers.
  • Communicate product status, key issues, and launch plans to constituents across the organization; including engineering, product, games, marketing, legal, and business development teams.
  • Work cross-functionally with diverse and creative expert teams to foster collaboration and communication between stakeholders.
  • Define product specifications, establish roadmaps, milestones, and manage the development and implementation against goals.


  • BA/BS in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent field.
  • 3+ years of technical Product Management experience.
  • Experience working with a team of 3+ engineers.
  • Familiarity with running complex projects and working as a horizontal leader to gain consensus with many stakeholders.
  • Proven quantitative, data-driven problem-solving skills and the ability to break down large problems into smaller solvable chunks.
  • Demonstrate exceptional organization, communication, and management skills.
  • Interest or excitement about AR and mobile games.

Plus If...

  • You have experience with data analytics or experimentation (A/B testing) tools.
  • You have experience building products for developers.
